Next Week is
a. National Volunteer Week, an opportunity to celebrate the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to come together to tackle tough challenges, and build stronger, more resilient communities.
b. National Student Leadership Week, Since 1972, the national office of National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, and National Student Council has sponsored NSLW. NSLW 2018 is being celebrated April 15-21 with the theme “Make Your Mark on the World: Dream. Lead. Serve.” This theme is rooted in a massive student leadership initiative on global citizenship, which has been underway since 2016.
c. Week of the Young Child, NAEYC first established the Week of the Young Child™ in 1971, recognizing that the early childhood years (birth through age 8) lay the foundation for children's success in school and later life. The Week of the Young Child™ is a time to plan how we—as citizens of a community, of a state, and of a nation—will better meet the needs of all young children and their families.
