Time spent in addressing Peace Week needs and motivating new members to participate in the planned activities. Co Presidents and Secretary encouraged to bring ideas on how to be more inclusive of all members in projects and to apply to youth boards

1. Gratitude to Planning Team
- Special thanks to Ahmed for creating the Google YAC Calendar. He will add contact information of new members.
- Thanks a million to Safra and Mariam for facilitating the YAC Booth at the Clubs Fair and to Anna for creating the video.

2. Go over Peace Week Flyer 2017
-Who are the World Peace Village facilitators and who will be introducing the speakers during the 11 Days of Global Unity?
Unity: Christianity: Sophia Sophia introduces Sept 11th speakers, Rev. Shannon Fleck, Dr. Carl Rubenstein
YAC writes Gratitude Letters at Harper when schedule permits it. We helped OK Centennial High School to write a proposal a $1,500 grant. They applied to be a 9/11 school of service during the summer. I will be spending two hours of 9/11 at their school supporting their efforts. Every gratitude letter to those who serve https://www. operationgratitude.com/ writeletters/- not just the military or veterans,- we also take letters to the Village Police, our firefighters, doctors, and nurses at Mercy Hospital need to be documented with a sign-up sheet. Centennial 9/11 organizers need to document every teen who participated in grant reporting and evaluation purposes
At 6:00 pm there is a UN meeting at the OCC to finalize the Peace Day Observance at the Capitol.

First Official YAC Meeting at Wing: All members write gratitude letters and make pinwheels for peace. Sahanya introduces Compass Leadership. Ali facilitates the Skittles Ice-Breaker. Agenda by Mariam and Safra. Mrs. Clay will reserve the Casady Wing for future active YAC meetings. we were the first ones to ask for Tuesdays, Activities as our meeting day. We will keep this time!

Environment: Buddhism Sara No speakers Introduction on September 13th. Discipline Committee Presentation at Chapel Elections during Activities Sahanya makes an announcement with Mr. Delgroso about water Walk. YAC members should prioritize the Water Walk and Rain Barrel Activity. Possible Stanley Hupfeld Academy mentors training during Music. YAC was asked to bring 1/2 gallon to a gallon empty water jugs to help the Environmental Club with their activity
Economic Justice: Muslim Katherine Katherine introduces Sept 14th speakers A Jaye Johnson and Deputy Dang. 8 YAC members needed to host OK Centennial Capstone students during lunch and activities. Mrs. Clay asked YAC to email her if interested in hosting. Casady is the school with the most resources in OKC. OK Centennial is the school with the least resources in OKC.
Health: Hinduism Malavika. Ellie introduces September 15th speakers, Dr. Marcia Moore and Chef Kevin. YAC members should see the documentary Happy at Dr. Torres Room. This starts movies in observance of Hispanic Heritage Month and Peace. Mrs. Clay strongly encouraged YAC YAC to go to Boys and Girls Club to make peace art (Pinwheels and Peace Rocks) or just play with the kids.
Children and Youth Day: Saturday, September 16th YAC encourage to volunteer at Boys and Girls Club Day of Kids or at the Food Bank Mrs. Clay will be volunteering at Boys and Girls club only.
Women Day, September 17 YAC encouraged to attend the Interfaith youth Tour. Service-Learning has reserved 3 tickets for interested YAC members on a first come, first served. Mrs. Clay will be on site supervising the Casady YAC group
Human Rights: Native American Ahmed. Claire introduces September 18th speakers, Ms. Bek-gran and Luke Albert. YAC encouraged to continue to write letters of Gratitude and view the video what is in your DNA at Harper after Advisories
Freedom: Orchestra member introduces the Orchestra on September 19th YAC encouraged to continue to make pinwheels for peace day and to write letters of gratitude
Disarmament: September 20th Father Blizzard and/or Father Youmans introduce their speaker, Mr. Jim McPhee on September 20th YAC encouraged to participate in the mindfulness activity.
Peace: September 21
YAC encouraged to participate in the Peace Walk and Kolache Breakfast. The Hospitality Social Media Chair ALI, the photographer Jasmin- will create the process of the walk and the Kolache breakfast. 7:00-8:00 am. Choir member introduces the Choir on September 21st
Sign up to attend the dinner benefiting Good Sheperd's Clinic and the UN Observance of Peace Day at the State Capitol at 6:00 PM. YAC will be transporting all pinwheels and planting at the South Lawn of the Capitol
