1. Tuesday Introduction to service requirement and YAC, Class of 2022, 1:10 at 8th grade Quad
-What is the Requirement?
-Documentation for credit on Casady Website.
-Start THIS SUMMER, highly recommended for hours to be completed before entering the senior year.

2. Officers for next year
We still do not have a calendar manager  Ahmed will take the task of creating the calendar and keeping it up updated.  He will connect to new apps to have more notifications and more effective communication.  Ahmed also provided this link to start keeping hours electronically https://www.trackitforward.com.  Mrs.Clay will provide the link to pertinent administrators looking into apps for that purpose.  Mr.Bottomly suggested a few years ago https://x2vol.com/index.html

Tentative Calendar for 2018-2019  Minutes by Caroline and Ellie
-3 ideas connected to working with the elderly.  The below-proposed projects need YAC project chairs if they are to be part of the YAC Calendar next year

1. Adopt a grandparent (Heritage Hall has this experience)

2. Quail Ridge Wednesday Lunch Bunch- One a month lunch with residents of Quail Ridge.  Conversations using a game board.

3. Senior Wellness Center Story Corps Project  Monthly conversations with Parks and Recreation Senior Wellness Centers.  NPR Story Corps "like" recordings of selected topics where teens and senior citizens share inspirational experiences.
