Multicultural Club (Erik Rangel) Introduces Dr. Noel Jacobs, Interfaith Alliance Vice-President’s
Dr. Jacobs is a Clinical Psychologist for Children’s Hospital, the Interfaith Alliance of Oklahoma Vice-President's, and a mentor of Youth LEAD OKC.

Dr. Jacobs once stated, “My mother said that when I was in first grade she knew I would be a psychologist because in the back of my school picture I had written “If you need help, call me” and I had written my telephone number.”

One of Dr. Jacobs favorite things is to help children discover the strengths and abilities they already have and put those strengths to work improving other aspects of their lives.  He believes that, although both optimism and pessimism can be persistent, pessimism doesn’t have to be permanent.  Children who feel hurt or scared can feel hopeful again need and deserve community, hope, and the realization that together, they can accomplish great things and have fun along the way.   Please help me welcome, Dr. Noel Jacobs, our featured speaker on Peace Week's Interdependence Day
