Agenda
* Food Drive Final Results Update: AMAZING YEAR! $3,000.77 in cash and checks. Cans and boxes of food weighted. Pounds are divided by a number to give the total number of meals. The first official report from the Food Bank was "The total number of pounds collected was 5,141. Casady’s total number of meals for 2016 is 19,232.85"
On Thursday, we provided Miss Price 50+ more cans from the Juniors. Friday, Mrs Small took the last PD cans when she and Mrs. Jenkins volunteered. The final meals results will not be ready until Tuesday.
Ellie will create a letter for any YAC member who desires to send it to businesses requesting matching our donations of funding. Ellie will be guided by https://www.regionalfoodbank.org/uploads/sah/Pounds%20for%20Dollars.pdf. The Food Bank has requested to provide a list of any targeted business.

NEWSFamily Volunteer Day, Sponsored by the Points of Light Foundation
Family Volunteer Day is a day of service that celebrates the power of families who work together to support their communities and neighborhoods. Volunteering is a great way for kids and adults to make new friends, develop compassion for their neighbors, and even pick up a new skill or two! It’s an amazing day – don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity!
Care Bags for our OKC Homeless. A Casady sophomore filled backpacks with water bottles, socks, Bibles, tissue, rain ponchos, gum, hand sanitizer and a few other things. She and her family handed the care bags to homeless people in the downtown area.
